About Cascade Lead Products Ltd
Came is the structural method behind traditional stained glass. H channel holds glass on both sides and carries the joints through a panel; U channel finishes an outside edge. Which metal you choose decides how the panel behaves: lead is soft and bends easily around curves, which suits flowing designs and restoration; zinc is rigid and holds a large panel flat, which matters as spans get bigger; brass and copper are chosen when the metal itself is meant to be seen.
Delphi carries Cascade came in individual lengths for a single panel and in boxes for studios working continuously. Came is also the sensible answer when a piece is too large for copper foil alone to hold its shape.
