Ultra fine bits are slow going. But you'll need them to prevent chipping.

This is the perfect bail if you want the pad on the back of the pendant (which I almost always do). Has enough surface area on the pad to hold fast. Beautiful as well!		 Cons
A bit pricy compared to the thin, flimsy competition.		 Other Thoughts
I keep both the silver and gold on hand. Until I discovered these I was drilling holes in my pendants. I don't care how good your adhesive is, a 2mm pad isn't going to hold.

None really, other than this being a somewhat hazardous material. You must wear gloves!		 Other Thoughts
Interestingly, a simple Sharpie marker makes a great stencil. I just marked a pattern on dichroic glass and rinsed after a moment or two and PRESTO!. The ink resists the etching cream just like a stencil.

Makes a gorgeous 22k gold embellishment. Characters in 3 different sizes, some small enough for post earrings. Not difficult to apply.		 Cons
Some of the characters have no mate so they can't be used for matching earrings. Even the largest characters could stand to a bit bigger (pendant size). Have to be fired on top of glass.		 Other Thoughts
I first fired these on opaque glass and then refired with clear over the top. this significantly mutilated the previously beautiful result. In my experience these decals must remain on top of the top glass layer for best results.

Allows repositioning of parts after application. Burns off in kiln.		 Cons
Adhesive properties are little more than surface tension when wet. Zero adhesion when dry. Glued parts shift easily when handled.
