Description:
A unique stained glass and wire reindeer straight from the north pole! This one has a modern look with iridescent black and red glass and silver toned antlers. The reindeer stands on a piece of white glass and would make a lovely table centerpiece or room accent.
The reindeer began with some help from my uncle-who I think is an amazing artist. He drew some sketches for me that I could translate into glass. The antlers were each hand shaped with wire and filled in with solder. The antlers are attached at the top of the reindeer's head and ear, one on each side. The glass was chosen to match the modern style of the silver colored antlers. The main body is made of black iridescent glass. It has a mirror look and a green shimmer. From one angle the glass looks black, but from other angles it can take on the color of what it reflects. The mane area is accented with red iridescent glass.
This reindeer stands on a piece of white glass. The glass is a little thicker and has a white bottom and clear top, which gives the effect of ice or crisp snow. I attached the reindeer with solder to the sides of the white glass, and also with wire soldered to the deer and the white piece. Then for a little more stability, a small amount of glue was placed between the center feet and the white glass. The piece is 7 inches (17.7 cm) high, 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) deep and 5 inches(12.7 cm) wide.

Thanks so much!! Sorry I didn't reply sooner-went on vacation and then forgot I entered-oops! I am not sure on the pattern-I kinda tweaked it as I went along-I can look at it again and see if I could make it repeatable! :) Thanks for asking!
