'Twas the Night

"Twas the Night" features a pattern from the GlasDesign Christmas 2 Stained Glass Pattern Book. I chose to mosaic the design onto wood as it was created to hang above a fireplace for the holidays. As opposed to doing a glass mosaic background, dry wall mud was swirled around the glass and then painted shades of deep blue. The "stars" in the sky actually light up with battery operated LED lights behind the glass gems.
