Hawaiian Fling

I was on an ocean kick, and wanted a whale piece that had movement and joy. I bought a cannibalized pattern book at a yard sale, no idea what it originally was, that had been used as a coloring book. I loved the movement of the whale. I started with the waves and moved on from there. This is another piece that was sold before I finished it, lol. i have to quit doing that. i liked the waves so  much that I duplicated the patter for lampshades for my bedside lamps. love this piece, just love it.
