Sunflower, art deco

 This was a Christmas gift for the family white elephant exchange. I am that relative who always gives the hand made item. in my family, that isn't a good thing, lol. so this year i wanted to rachet it up a notch. The basic design is inspired by a truly brilliant glass artist M. Skip Vasquez. You can find her stuff on etsy.com. I began playing with wire and decorative solder because of her work. My cousin Pam was the lucky recipient of this, and she glared down all who might steal it. so, i think it was a success.
