A beautiful pendulum case wall clock. Constructed from Spectrum opal, clear and mirror glass with 3/16" copper foil. There are 96 individual pieces of glass. The background color is yellow and white streaky glass, starting of with a vivid yellow at the bottom of the panel, and graduating to nearly white at the top. The roses are orange / red with different shades of green for the leaves.
The clock face has a diameter of 6.95 inches, brass and glass with a hinged bezel and Roman numerals. The clock hands are 2.75" long and black. The clock movement is a very accurate quartz movemnet with a 10" pendulum, lyre and a 2.75 " diameter bob. The quartz movement has only a loss of 1 second per month.
Inside the clock case there is a mirror fixed to the back of the case giving depth, and reflects the roses giving the impression of a second rose panel. The clock has been finished off with a soild oak octagonal wooden frame and a wooden back, and a brown patina applied. The size of the clock has a length of 23 inches, a width of 11inches and a depth of 3".
