Enadangered sea turtle... I wonder why? By: Matt Takacs

This sea turtle was my first time using the networking technique in the flameworking shop. It is all clear Borosilicate glass and is about 24" wide (flippers) and about 20"-22" long and 6" to the top of the shell. I incorporated fishing line and tied it to the flippers and around the head to show the plight of the sea turtles and the destruction of their environment by humanity. Clear in this piece represents the absence of these creatures making it more of a ghostly ominous object. Conservation awareness is vitally important to saving all endangered animals.
