St. Ubertius Trail

This piece is 10" wide by 20" high without frame.  It is framed in a taupe frame and is ready to hang.  I use a sgraffito technique which is very intuitive and really speaks to me.  This piece was created on a Bullseye dense white sheet backed with Bullseye clear.  I first sifted black powder frit on to the white glass and proceeded to remove the powder where I wanted the colour to be applied using dark lines and shading.  This was full fused then transparent frit was applied over the shading and white spaces and full fused.  The final layer was done in opaque frit to define the leaves.
