Night-Blooming Cereus Platter

Sometimes a piece of art spends months waiting for just the right piece of glass to come in.  That was the case with my Night-Blooming Cereus glass powder sgraffito drawing.  The background glass is Bullseye Black and White Streaky.  Each piece of streaky is unique, and this particular one was what my glass powder drawing had wanted.  The finished platter is fully fused and food safe, perfect for a Night-Blooming Cereus all night party.  These amazing plants show glorious blooms which open only for one night, and by morning are spent. The drawing is created by hand using Bullseye black powder which is sifted onto white, and drawn freehand with a modified X-acto knife.
