Description:
The lamp shade is 15 1/2" square at the bottom and 7 1/2" tall. The shade consists of three colors of stained glass. The shade is assemble using lead came and all joints are soldered together. Once assembled, I use a product called Miracle Mudd which consists of plaster and linseed oil and is applied to all the seams and joints. This gives the shade strength and support. The outside edges on the shade are solid brass and hand bent to conform to the shade and then soldered to the shade. The vase cap on the top is solid brass. All the brass is applied with a patina to give it a antique finish. All the lead came is applied with a patina to give it a black finish. The base has one 3 way light bulb. The lamp stands at 23" high.
