Antique Wavy Glass Table Lamp

The lampshade is 15" in diameter and 8" tall. There are 28 panels and consist of 84 pieces of glass. The lampshade is assembled using lead came and soldered at all of the joints. Once the shade is fully assembled, the product Miracle Mudd which consists of plaster and linseed oil was applied to all the seams and joints. This gives the shade extra strengh and support. The vase cap at the top is solid brass and a patina was applied to give it an antique finish. A patina was applied to the lead came to give it a black finish. The lamp base was rewired to give it two light bulb sockets on pull chains. The base was painted with an oil rubbed bronze finish. Two Edison Style light bulbs gives the lamp the finish antique look. The table lamp stands at 22 1/2" high.
