Fused Mosaic Christmas Wreath

Frit can be your friend when you want to craft a mosaic but you don't want to glue and grout.  Built on a pre-cut 10-inch clear fusible glass circle, the wreath was crafted with very coarse green and red clear and opaque frit, fusible red glass nuggets, a red cast frit glass heart, and a pre-cut angel.  To keep the fused piece from shrinking it includes very course clear frit in the center.  A pale tan powdered frit was used as grout on the clear grass with a dark green powdered frit used on the wreath to provide the look of a mosaic.  The piece was fired to a full fuse to produce a smooth texture.
