Kek Harangok (Blue Bells)

In this piece I focused on the repeating pattern of the little blue bell flowers as they danced around the center medallion.  The clear glass is a recycled 1960’s frosted glass from a window we decided to replace in our home.  Although very delicate, I love the way it sparkles in the light.  This piece makes special use of solder techniques and extra wire work to add dimension and levity to the piece.  See particularly the solder “petals” around the glass beads and the little tendrils at the blue bonnets.This piece is NOT finished.  I love this center medallion and want someone to bring me the final shape of the piece.
