Description:
This 17" x 17" panel was designed to let the customer decide which side they prefer. One side has separately fired painted fish (Bullseye Colorline Paint) accentuated with Austin Thin Films (dichromagic) dichroic glass fins tac fired 1/4" above the surface, from the other side, a soft ghostlike image of the fish shows through. The entire panel was first painted and then full fused with Bullseye Colorine Paint details leaving the spaces behind the fish unpainted. The next firing was with colored Uroboros fine glass frit held in place with No Daze adhesive. Clear Uroboros fine glass frit was used on the area the fish image was planned to come through. The adhesive was allowed to dry for 48 hours before the panel underwent a full fuse. The last fusing was tac firing on the fish. The panel is held in an adjustable frame available from Delphi.
