"Forests on Fire" Fused Glass Artwork by Greta Schneider

2018 was a year for fires.......and whetherbeautiful or frightening......the sight of fires is definitely eye catching and striking.  I did several pieces showing the trees on fire....and tried to capture the feeling of heat and flames...amid the trees.  I think I was fairly successful.  We were particularly aware of the fires along the scenic Columbia River Gorge this last year.....a very popular and treasured place for Oregonians and tourists alike.
