Description:
Canada Goose is one of the iconic birds of the north. In summer many geese frequently rest on grassy meadows near lakes. My sunset portrait captures a moment when it's time for one last swim of the day - after a rest on a comfy log, a goose is getting ready... This piece has been created using COE 96 glass and powders and I made it as a free standing art in which its stand, a piece of driftwood, plays integral part of the scene. I concentrated on getting as much realism and feather texture detail as I could into one only firing in a kiln. Sunset Stretch is 8" wide and 6 1/2 "high incl. the driftwood stand.
Material used:
- COE 96 glass
- COE 96 powders
- driftwood
