Sunny Daze

This 11x18 Sunny Daze piece will brighten your day like just the Sun!  I used several types of glass, textured, transparent, reds, oranges and yellow, all to create that vibrancy you get on a sunny day.  This lead came piece was a dream to complete with lots of straight lines and only one curve around the "sun".  I used black patina to finish it out, with a zinc frame and jack chain for hanging.  I made this as a contribution to our River Cities Corvette Club's annual car show and this piece, along with my C7 Corvette emblem, where it was put in a Live Auction and brought great money for Hosperus of Louisville, my favorite charity.
