Dichroic Blue Glass Kingsfisher Plate

This little kingfisher is made out of bright blue dichroic glass with details added in high fire enamel. The kingfisher, vitragraph stem and the iridized outside strips that frame the piece were glued down and then the open area was filled with various frits to make a natural looking background, and then they were all full fused together and lightly slumped into a plate mold.
