Calm Waters

A school of fish floats through calm waters and kelp within this fused glass artwork.  Layers of varying sized chips and powders create deep patterns under intense black delineations.  A few copper threads add sparkle and follow the body shapes.  Mottled blues form transparent waters.  Multiple kiln firings with altered temperatures achieve the diffusion and chemical changes of colors.
