The cast Recycled TV glass is a sectional structure of a pie graph to convey the importance of maintaining time for ourselves in our frequently complex and busy lives, with the glass suggesting the strength required to achieve it.
We are often caught up with busy and pressured productivity that society expects and demands, leaving little opportunity to spend quality time with the ones we love and work so hard for.
Refracted light and shadow within the glass highlight the influences of the computer age on our lives, theoretically making life easier but often directly replacing our personal time.
The soft forms of roses cast into one side of the work, reflects onto the other two polished sides, creating a somber reminder to take time to smell the flowers.
