Description:
This is my Multi-Color Bullseye Glass Draped Bowl. I cut strips of clear Bullseye Tekta glass into 3/8" strips of varying lengths. I then cut small rectangles of Bullseye colored transparent glass to place between the strips of clear glass. I arranged the strips of clear glass strips and colored glass pieces into a modified diamond/rectangle pattern and tack fused them together. I then draped them over a 9" staineless steel bowl until the glass just started to hit the shelf. I guessed at what shape to make the tack fused panel and made it as large as possible to fit into my Hot Shot HS-16G clam shell kiln. The hardest part of the project was waiting for the kiln to cool down so I could see my artwork!
