Morning Glow in a Birch Forest

Birch Forest is a fused glass piece that is 7" x 18" x 3/4" thick.  It is made up of five layers of Bullseye sheet glass plus many inclusions.  Back two layers are B0213030 and B0423730.  Color Line enamels creates the details in the trees.  This piece was fired in the kiln five times.  Each of the components were put together in the final fuse which took about 36 hours.  Natural light coming from behind shows off the beauty of the glowing sunrise in the Birch Forest.  The custom-made wood base completes the scene.
