Product Description

This grinder does it all! The first glass grinder to combine a flat diamond disc for straight edges with a router style bit for curves. You get two grinders in one! Bit and disc run simultaneously - you don't have to stop and switch back and forth.

Features a 1/8 hp motor and a 9" x 5-1/2" work surface with a built-in spotlight. Includes a 1" bit and a 6" 260 grit diamond disc a 30°/45° angle block for perfectly fitting beveled edges, large work surface, and a 6 year manufacturer warranty (excludes bits). Note: Only Diamond Tech Studio Pro Bits fit Diamond Max Elite Glass Grinders.

To empty the water reservoir pull up the cork to empty out of the side drain as shown in the last image.

Pros : This grinder is by far the best model I have used, and I have gone through many! It is much less messy than the others, as it doesn't splash water out the front. The built-in light is also a super-convenient feature. it is angles perfectly so it avoids glare but lights the work area well.
Cons : no cons!
Other Thoughts : Delphi Glass has been incredibly helpful over the years. Their customer service has been excellent, on the few occasions that I have had a problem. I will continue being a loyal customers for as long as I am creating...

How and when did you get started in glass art? I saw an article about Kristin Frantzen-Orr along with a step by step example of how to do one of her famous floral beads. I talked about it so much my husband bought me a beginning torch set for the following Christmas. Once I got the kiln and the duel fuel torch, I just kept experimenting and growing from there. Kristin is still my idol and I keep telling myself that one day I will do nice, clean floral beads like hers. Your jewelry, vases, plates etc. are all beautiful. I especially love the geologic nature of your Copper Reactive dish, its so unique. Can you tell us a little about how you achieved that look? The base glass is Bullseye Steel Blue Opal (000146) and it reacts all on its own. I used clear stringers and broke up chunks

On a recent hunt for a birthday present for my mother, I came across several beautiful handbags in several different boutiques.
