Product Reviews
Pros
This is a well-made grinder and one of the best on the market. The magnetic disk system without a center hole gives you an exceptionally large working area for larger pieces. The machine runs smoothly and the water delivery and drainage system is very well designed. You can hook up to a garden hose if you don't want to purchase the water pump.
Cons
The flexible diamond disk set that comes in this kit is high quality and if purchased alone would cost quite a bit. However, it is next to impossible to grind out the scratches made by the 400-grit electroplate with the 600 grit resin disk. The metal disk is so much more aggressive than the resin that the difference is too great between the two. You will probably need to buy at least one intermediate grit. Abrasive Technology (the manufacturers of the grinder) sells a 225 grit resin disk for about $250. Be aware that there are MUCH cheaper alternatives on the market if you shop around.
Other Thoughts
You can't go wrong with this machine. I highly recommend it.
Pros
The molds are a quick and easy way to make a batch of magnets or pendants. I have several of these molds and they work great: I do not have problems with the glass sticking (I use Primo kiln wash), and very seldom do I ever have to grind either devitrification and/or kiln wash off the cabs, just fire using a bubble squeeze schedule and pop out a finished product.
Cons
I wish the molds made more than four at a time.

Pros
I really like this one. It has the right shape for the clips i buy.
Cons
I put fiber paper on the second set. It made the back rough enough for the glue to stick better

Pros
Easy to use & transfers colors & design to glass surface faithfully. The Color Slide provides for different levels of transparency depending on the colors in the graphics. You can enhance those colors with your choice of glass color. The creative possibilities are endless & this is a great way to add art & color to your glass creations. I originally bought the Color Slide to permanently transfer graphic designs to clear glass cutting boards. I reverse printed the designs on plain white, copy paper & used a local printing outlet's color copier to transfer the images to the Color Slide sheets. The images printed to the Color Slide sheets beautifully (with one exception, as noted in cons). I was very pleased with how the images then transferred to the glass during the baking process. I attached stained glass to the back of the cutting board, over the graphic, providing a colorful background for the Color Slide image. Now the finished project is both art for the wall & a unique cutting boar
Cons
During the copying process the Color Slide sheets were getting jammed in the copier because the heat generated by the copier melted the Color Slide film. I wasted a few sheets at first. I decided the leading edge of the Color Slide sheet, to be copied to, needed to be connected more firmly to the backing it comes on so it wouldn't get jammed in the copier. I used scotch tape, which worked perfectly. Just make sure you leave enough space between the leading edge of the Color Slide sheet & your design so that when you crop the graphic you have the recommended boarder width left of about a 1/4 inch.
Other Thoughts
It would be nice if the Color Slides were offered for sale in various sheet amounts so that there would a discount for larger sheet count purchases and I think the directions for use that come with the packaging is vague. There should be some text about why you have to use a laser printer or a color copier.
Pros
Cuts a nice thin line smoothly and consistently.
Cons
None
