Creates depth and colour, while leaving the background clear for light.
Cons
Those fracture shards like to bite!
Other Thoughts
Cuts incredibly well, but this is worth keeping the glass warm.

Pros
Set up properly, does exactly what it’s intended to do. Love that you can bring down blade support bar down closer to the glass and take away the longer stretch of the blade to the glass.
Cons
None for now.
Other Thoughts
If you follow the instructions and the blade tension is where it should be (didn’t have to touch mine from the factory) and don’t force your glass you should not have issues such as snapping the blade. I’ve read reviews with that being the biggest complaint. I took a chance after watching Delphi’s video and I paid attention to the quality and workmanship while watching the video and I liked what I saw. I got mine today and gave it a trial run and it performed perfectly. I let the saw do the work and didn’t force anything. I also have another bandsaw and this Diamond Elite is a much more quality build which you should expect with it being a bit more pricey. The Diamond Elite is quieter and has better/quality adjustments. It’s not something I will use every day but I expect, from what I’ve done so far, for it to last a good long time.
Pros
I love that the shards of glass fall into the boxes of the grid. Much less mess and since I am setup on my dining room table and have dogs and family walking around it’s nice to just vacuum the little pieces up out of the grid
Cons
Can’t think of any!

Pros
I am absolutely ASTOUNDED!! The Cutter’s Mate actually made me cry! I cannot believe how this mechanism scores for the cleanest breaks…very precise, making cuts that are so thin and it breaks as smooth as a baby’s butt.
Cons
Only issue, which, in no way, shape or form a deal breaker for me is when using the arm to break the score the straight bar pops out of my waffle grid. I am sure this is because I am new but like I said, this is one AMAZING little ditty.

Lightwieght compared to similar display stands

Pros
Had everything I needed and it all seems to be of pretty high quality.
Cons
Glass selection was pretty much all green.

Pros
I already have a grinder but I have recently been teaching my niece stained glass and sharing one grinder wasn’t working out so I needed another. I purchased The Grinder as it has a lower height profile and I liked the reviews. Though I can’t say that lifting and emptying a tray filled with water works for me (I’m not the steadiest person on earth walking with a shallow water pan). Overall I like it. The lighting is really nice, it’s quiet and has a better water flow thanmine. The mini tower is hands down the best I’ve ever used. The storage tray is up front and easily accessible. Time will tell but so far so good.
Cons
Not as easy to lift and walk any distance to empty the water tray without spilling water. I use a sponge to remove and change the water.
Other Thoughts
Maybe a drain would be helpful.
Pros
I have been doing stained glass for over 30 years. I am self taught and always used a pistol grip cutter. I have some arthritis in my hand though not severe. I am always looking for a new stained glass toy. I decided to give this a try. Can’t say I have the hang of it yet and I felt a little skeptical but it definitely does work. I have always been one that probably puts more pressure on the cutter than necessary so this takes a little getting used to. You use such a light touch that it glides and I’m used to that scoring sound that I don’t really hear. Even so, the glass does break along the score. I’m still working on that and the feeling of control.
Cons
Not really for small pieces.
Other Thoughts
Don’t throw away your hand cutter.
Pros
If you make panels with flowers this is a must have glass. As with most of my reviews for glass I always look for glass that retains its colors when held to light. This is one of the few that does. It is easy to cut and grind.
Cons
None
