Pros
Want to match just the right color? Want to just have fun? I used glow powder and various frits to make a set of galaxy knobs for my daughter's dresser and it worked perfectly with her room's decor. The bubbles even fit in as stars....
Cons
No weights given for filling, just "mound up the top" which you have to go OVER the top of the mold, or risk not being able to fit in and cover the hardware. Not what I was expecting... and these end up a bit heavy.
Other Thoughts
These get built up backwards from other frit projects since the bottom of the mold is the stem rather than the textured front. This can be a boon to those not used to typical casting, but makes it a bit messier to plan as things melt unevenly.
Also, be sure to use a good glue to adhere the hardware (it's going to be twisted a good bit!) and be aware that if you use all clear, you'll see the hardware through the knob.
Pros
Following the instructions for the round or square knob molds these work perfectly. Screws fit tightly.
Cons
No instructions, tips, or tricks shipped with the item itself. I had to use the knob project sheet to get any info and hope these matched what was mentioned.
Other Thoughts
I tried using E6000 with these and that was still too loosy goosy, I had to switch to a resin epoxy to glue them in, and that was messy... not to mention hard to keep them centered just right, but if you put in the screws to hold the barrels in place, be very careful to keep the threads 100% clear & clean since I lost one to a thread of epoxy drifting into the wrong spot.
Pros
Rough rolled glass is my favorite glass to work with. I love the texture which enhances the color of the glass. Easy to cut as well. And this blue is gorgeous with the silver solder finish around it.

Pros
This kit has everything needed to get started and more! The solder iron is amazing! Quick to heat and consistent in temperature. The flux is easy to apply.
Cons
None! This kit is a good investment.
Other Thoughts
I am blown away by the quality of the products, the speed of shipping, and how well packaged the items were.
Pros
My hands are developing joint arthritis & Cutters Mate is really helpful.
Cons
The slide bar connections to the waffle grid pop out too easily, and sitting on a taller stool is neccessary to really see what you're cutting. I'm 5'10" .
Other Thoughts
There needs to b a more detailed book of directions to really make best use of this tool.
Pros
I've had several kilns & this one is the best for glass fusing. I fuse 90coe, window float glass, upcycled, & my stash of 1800s glass. This kiln is good for traditional enamel painted, new enamels, freeze & fuse, slumping, tack firing. I like the presets as well as my own programs. 10 years & still going strong.
Cons
My one issue is the round shelves don't utilize the space well. Octagonal shelves to fit the kiln shape would be much better.
Other Thoughts
Def would buy again.
