This is a terrific stand for multiple things. Works well displaying platters and shallow bowls. Lots of shoppers don't understand that their functional glass art can also be beautifully displayed in the home when not in use. By using a stand like this, it shows buyers that this work is vastly different from what they can get in a mega store. These stands are economically priced and the artisan can easily include the cost of the stand within the cost of the glass art.

I almost did not purchase this cutter after reading the reviews online. I bought it; watched the FREE online video and commenced to trying it out. My first bottle was epic fail! But - I was impatient and was just tapping (banging) away on the bottle. All I got was a jagged edge and various runs. I don't think I got a good score either. The second cut (same bottle) I let the bottle sit and then plunged it in a cold water bath. Failed again. Then I decided to heat it up one more time. Ran out of time though and just put it under the cold water in the sink and the score ran. So now - with a new bottle - I let it heat up in the hot water, run it under cold running water and then back in the hot water. Comes right off nice and clean. Did it three more times just to make sure.

Absolutely wonderful. I have put off buying one of these but am glad I didn't put it off any longer. Easy to set up use and it does a wonderful job. I highly recommend this for a easy really nice look to foiling.

Very small pieces are better done by hand. Anything with lots of tight curves would be better done by hand. However, I did a piece with flowing curves and it was great.
