E works much better.

Very pretty
Cons
A lot darker than I realized it would be.
Other Thoughts
This is the type of glass I need to order in person, so I
can see what it looks like when it is fired
Pros
I use it for almost all of my projects as the bottom layer of the piece.
Cons
Sometimes, I have trouble getting a clean cut..I just need more patience
When I cut glass.

I am still waiting to finish the Stepping stone, because I have to get the rest of the supplies to pour the concrete.

There’s a lot of variety in one package. It so beautifully to look at and a nice and economic way to try the speciality dichroic
Cons

Pros
These will save me time and effort when I need to make a bunch of uniform items or my upcoming workshop with several inexperienced glass artists who will be decorating with frit and accessory glass or enamel painting.
Cons
I wish they had 3 inch, these are heavy and large for my planned ornaments.
Other Thoughts
I have concerns about the edges being cloudy when fired, while not sharp, they aren't exactly smooth.
Pros
Better than kiln washing
Cons
Sticks to glass even at low temps, only get 1 firing use rather than multiple, thicker and more textured than thin fire
Other Thoughts
Pros
These are perfect for a smooth straight line, great for boarders, but I like using them kinda like tape to hold two colors together on a base next to each other without pulling away from each other. They also work for accents and details in designs.
They are so thin you can snap to a good length with your fingers, but if you want precision, you can use a cutter and pliers to get just exactly the right length and angles.
Cons
I wish I could get all one color, but then some of the colors in the mix don't seem to be available on their own from Oceanside. /shrug
Also, it can be hard to tell which ones will turn opaque or strike (change color) when fired.so it's often a good bet to break off just a bit from the very end and run it through a cycle to be sure.
Other Thoughts
Nip them into squares (can be stacked for large dots/color saturation) to make uniform dots quickly and easily.
Another trick is to put several on their sides next to each other and place on a base glass to make thin stripes
I also like taking the niped squares and using them like mosaics on clear base glass then firing face down on a tack fuse.
Pros
Being thin it works well for keeping jewelry lightweight, even if I layer some clear dichro on top of it, a must have for earrings
Cons
Other Thoughts
I LOVE using this with thin black and layering clear dichro on top of them, it looks super dramatic but stays classy.
Pros
These are pretty substantial bails for jewelry, they're very solid and able to hold up even if you have some one who fiddles with their necklace.
Cons
I get you want texture for glue adhesion, but the pattern with the registered trademark symbol is distracting when you have a clear or transparent base.
Other Thoughts
They do NOT look delicate or dainty if you're trying to minimize the distraction findings have on a finished piece, I personally find it hard to work designs around them unless the base is opaque
Pros
LOTS OF GLASS
Cons
I WANT MORE .LOL
Other Thoughts
Putting a color tag on the strikers would be a big help
Pros
Lightweight, Portable, Low Wattage, Durable
Cons
None really. Could be even brighter would be my only suggestion.
Other Thoughts
I own 4 of these and they make up the core of my portable gallery display. I can run all 4 off my Jackery 1000 power station all day and they backlight all my pieces at shows.
Pros
Made cutting glass for a newbie super easy.
Great for my carpal tunnel.
Far less grinding needed.
Less glass wasted.
Cons
Need to buy waffle grids to be able to use this device.
Other Thoughts
I have carpal tunnel and was afraid I couldn’t purse stained glass, though I wanted to for years. This little beauty has been nothing short of a miracle worker for me! Not only does it save my carpal tunnel, it was much easier to pickup learning stained glass due to its precision. I’ll never do a project without it! If you’re considering getting it, do it, you won’t be disappointed. Delphi also had the best price that I found anywhere on the web for it.
Pros
Large work surface, thin, light weight
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
I just bought this and am very pleased with it. It’s been so helpful in checking glass colors next to each other, also being able to see how different glass looks when it’s backlit. It has informed my choices on my latest project. Great tool!
