Product Description

A Great Technique In Glass Fusing
Use these molds to create woven glass by slumping glass strips, stacking them, and refiring them to make stunning works of art. This technique called "interweaving" is one of the most popular in fusing today! Kiln wash before use. Mold measures 8-3/8" by 8-1/2" by 3/4" deep.

Pros : This mold makes it so easy to create woven glass that is evenly spaced. I also use it to create wavy stringers.

Pros : This mold makes it easy to get the glass properly spaced, and in the correct orientation.
Cons : I use kiln wash on my molds and the only con is that it is a little difficult to get the wash on correctly. I have another idea that I will use and this should not be an issue.
Other Thoughts : I have made a couple of things with weaved glass. The end result has amazed everyone that I have shown it to. This mold has made the process so much easier to do. It still takes several runs through the kiln to achieve the effect, but it is incredible.
