Product Reviews
Pros
Great assortment of colors. Pleased with the bigger pieces I received. Since it is being cut in all odd ways it was worth it to get this scrap package. Easy to use and fun.
Cons
The colors show up better when I use them on the top layer. Between layers of glass is more difficult to see.
Other Thoughts
Would like it if there was a savings when purchasing the large package. It is double the amount in the small package but double the cost too. It would be great if there was a bigger savings for buying the larger quantity.
Pros
Lots of fun to use. I like to use them on each layer of glass...makes a pretty cool fused dimensional piece.
Cons
The paint dries quickly in the pen tip. I keep the little cleaning wire in the tip between using colors. This makes it very easy to have multiple colors open at once.
Other Thoughts
I used them to trace my daughter's first "drawing." It is now a fused memory. Highly recommend these!!!
Pros
Very easy, safe to use and effectively scores glass of neck of blown glass bulbs. Definitely easier than using a wheel scorer.
Cons
Just a touch pricey.

Using with Hakko 456 iron.
Pros
Unbelievably gorgeous before and after fusing! Truly elegant on black glass.
Cons
The color coating on the back will flake off easily, especially if any grinding is necessary.
Other Thoughts
Make sure you have the coated side down when cutting and coated side up when grinding. Don't rub water from grinder off, simply dab it with paper towel.
Pros
This collection will give you a broad range of colors to work with at a reasonable price. Lots of dichroic to work with.

Pros
Spooled lead is so much easier to store than lead strips. When used with a Stanton Lead Stretcher, it's the perfect match! I like being able to only cut off what I need and not have tons of odds & ends pieces laying around.
Cons
I've not encountered any cons.
Other Thoughts
When you calculate out the cost per linear foot for spooled lead vs. lead strips, spooled really is the way to go.
Pros
Easy cuts on coe 90/96
Cons
Need about 3' horizontal or vertical space.

Pros
Wow, finally a box big enough to see a whole panels worth of glass, and the light is wonderful. In my small studio, it has made a world of difference. Make room for this light box, on your work table and enjoy the ability to see true colors, trace patterns etc.
Cons
Only trouble I have with it is the large size, and that is also what I love about it. Just took some rearranging to give it a permanent home in my work space. Well worth it.

Pros
These pliers have made a huge difference in the way I cut glass. I am now able to cut deeper curves and longer straight lines with less breakage. Well worth the money!
Cons
Not quite as effective on thicker glass, but a light tap underneath the score helps.
Other Thoughts
You do need to practice when you first get these to learn how much pressure to use. If you use the same pressure as with the heavier pliers you're used to you can shatter the glass.
