Round Top Purse Hanger by dachgill on April 24, 2010 4 stars
Pros
Really like them and have sold about 20 of them with no issues except one
Cons
Set screw came out for a customer. Was going to remove set screw and replace but it does not seem to hold now. Also, does not work when I put it back in the new one.

18" Sterling Silver Necklace by Lavaland on April 24, 2010 5 stars
Pros
I have put these chains to the test. They passed with flying colors! I break things easily when I wear them and I was concerned about the thinner part (that slips thru a bead) breaking off the chain. NOT worried anymore! I have been selling my beads with these for years, plus using them myself. GREAT!
Cons
None

If you want to offer quality sterling with your quality art glass, these are perfect! My galleries LOVE them!

Hi-Temp 1800 Mold Release and Lubricant by hpuryear on April 23, 2010 5 stars
Pros
this stuff is great. I use it on my stainless steel molds and on my "bisque" molds. I really enjoy this item
Cons
It is a bit pricey, but find a little does go a long way.
Other Thoughts
This is my humble thoughts. I do enjoy using it.

Came Bending Jig by aluton on April 22, 2010 5 stars
Pros
This little ditty is amazing. I did a 36" arched window and the zinc was bent flawlessly.
Cons
no cons.

Wheeled Glass Nippers by buyart on April 21, 2010 4 stars
Pros
I teach mosaics, so the 10 Nippers I own are in constant use. They are great for cutting small ceramic shape tiles as well as shaping vitreous glass. Sometimes problematic with stained glass that is too thin to fit between the wheels. The wheels DO come loose with usage, but are easy to tighten. Wheels dull quicker than I would like but replacements are inexpensive. Basically a solid and reliable studio tool.
Cons
The plastic coating on the handles frequently split and come off - so I just re-wrap them with duck tape. Not a great solution but it works.

Taurus 3 Speed Blade by WOBGNut on April 21, 2010 5 stars
Pros
WOW! Great to use blade. Why didn't I switch to this sooner? Super fast, smooth cutting. Like previous review, almost like machine is new. Much smaller kerf (gap). Can use side of blade like a grinder to perfect edges not cut. Liked being able to fully see my cutting line again, since it doesn't need that adapter to keep from wobbling like regular blade does. Cut 20 Cardinals wings in a FRACTION of time it take to cut a couple with normal blade!
Cons
Wonder how long it lasts since you only really go from the front on cutting instead of all around. From back is MUCH slower (like normal blade) and wobbles a bit. A little tight to initially get in the channel when installing.
Other Thoughts
Should probably include instruction on set up. Not sure if I'm supposed to use the stability adapter or not, but found blade pretty stable without it. If lasts long enough to justify expense, will definitely buy again!!!!

Mastercraft 50/50 Solder - 1 lb by Violet A on April 18, 2010 5 stars
Pros
I've used this Mastercraft 50-50 solder for 3.5 years and have had very good success with it. It can be temperamental regarding the heat however.
Cons
Possibly the way this solder is temperamental to the heat or lack thereof.

Liquid Stringer Medium - 8 oz. by juliadibiasi on April 18, 2010 4 stars
Pros
I've tried several different consistencies, and it seems to work best when really thick.
Cons
It can flake right off of the glass when you are trying to carve it and clean it up, but I've found that I can put a little more wet medium down and sort of 'glue' the piece that fell off back on to the glass.
Other Thoughts
It would be nice if it would mix to a consistency that was really smooth - i expected it to draw on the glass more like those 'puff paints' or glitter glue does, but its not that smooth. I recommend making it super thick and using as small of a hole in the bottle cap as possible while still getting it to flow out. Cleanup and carving with various sizes of xacto knives works best. Also, rather than carving pieces away to clean the edges, you can push the edges inward to make them sharper. That helps prevent too large of a chunk from getting cut away by accident. all in all, a fun new way to expand your creativity!!

5-1/4" x 3-3/4" Oval Soap Dish Mold by jane63strength on April 18, 2010 5 stars
Pros
The larger size is perfect for the standard bar of soap, and the deep groves are a definite bonus!
Cons
none
Other Thoughts
I will be buying several to have ready to use.

Multi Hole Pot Melt Mold by NeuroticDragonGlass on April 17, 2010 5 stars
Pros
Perfect use for scrap and bad ideas. Creates areas of color which add interest. EASY to do!
Cons
There are 5 distinct areas in the finished piece, but I think they're interesting.
Other Thoughts
Use a lot of white or clear scrap - darker colors want to dominate. You absolutely must have kiln posts (4) and glass dams (4). I use a 1" kiln post and 4 8" dams to support the pot and fit my kiln.

3-3/4" Wavy Sushi Plate by IleneGoldman (top contributor) on April 16, 2010 4 stars
Pros
This is a nice little dish but the actual measurement of it is 3-3/4" by 3". It is a small rectangle, not a square. If you're looking for a small square dish, look elsewhere.
Cons
Incorrect measurement in Delphi's description
