Product Reviews
Pros
I am very pleased with this purchase. I got an excellent assortment of colors. Looks very similar to the picture. It does come in assorted sizes, but that was fine with me. All of the pieces have fired great so far. Very pleased with the purchase.
Cons
One VERY thick piece did not go "all the way down" on a full fuse, but it did add interest to the piece. It was quite thick.

Pros
This is the best cutter I have used to date. It makes the best scoring lines. I get super accuracy and such easy breaks. Definitely will only use this cutter in the future! Love the assorted colors! Hasn't leaked either, which has been a problem with past cutters from other manufacturers. It also has a nice cover for the tip. LOVE IT!
Cons

Sturdy, economical , shipped promptly.
Cons
Make sure your surface is clean or it will not adhere as well.

Pros
I have totally enjoyed my kiln. I have made some awesome pieces in no time. It couldn't be easier. It saves my bigger kiln for my bigger projects.
Cons
Can't find any real problems just have to take time to figure out right times for items.
Other Thoughts
Pros
The kit itself is excellent for a beginner and getting started
Cons
The "instructional DVD" advertised on the box cover is a joke. Leave it out or make it truly instructional!
Other Thoughts
The instructional DVD should include setting up the torch and making a bead more in detail. Rods are round but video shows a rectangular piece of glass that I've never seen and am not sure where you would even purchase. If I didn't know about beadmaking before I got the kit, I would have been very disappointed in the DVD and would have returned the kit.
Pros
I have been using this cutter for ten years now. I still have the original wheel, and it still cuts very well, just like new. I never have to re-cut a piece
Cons
I have several oil cutters, and if you leave them laying on their side they leak oil, so i keep mine in a glass jar with a piece of oil soaked cloth in bottom. This keeps it oiled and lasts forever.
Other Thoughts
Pros
this easy cut lens cutter is great. It scores a perfect circle in all sizes.
Cons
the glass does slip if you do not have a non slip surface under the glass. I purchase a thin sticky pad that is used to go under carpets, it works perfect.
Other Thoughts
highly recommend this product.
Pros
wonderful results once you have the process down!
Cons
you have to play w/it to get used to how to use it & how dark etc. to make your photos!

Pros
I have used this system to customize stock bevels to different shapes and sizes and it works great. It does take patience and practice. And you need to wear an apron because you will get wet but that should be expected since you are removing a lot of glass during the process and that requires a lot of water.
What caused me to decide to write this review was another use for which I recently used this tool. I installed a glass tile back splash in my kitchen. I used my bandsaw to cut the 1/4" thick glass tiles but this left an unfinished edge on the cut pieces. I used the Bevel Max to round the cut and polish the edge. It worked beautifully.
Cons
None.
Other Thoughts
Because of the amount of water used in the beveling and polishing process the work area will get wet. I use a boot tray to keep my work bench clean and dry. I just set the Bevel Max in the tray, sit the splash guard behind also in the tray and put a cup under the run off tube. All the water then stays within the boot tray keeping the bench work surface clean and dry.
