Product Reviews
Pros
This is THE single best stained glass book available! I was able to teach myself to do glass with the help of this book and used it to advance to an intermediate level of competency. It begins with one project that you can choose to make either by the copper foil (my choice) or leaded came method. After completing this, it presents additional projects that are quite nice, some more challenging than others, with hints on how to progress over various challenges. Wonderful photography, clear explanations, good methodology. I haven't seen it's equal. Even thought the word "Basics" appears in the title, it doesn't stop there but will help you to progress.
Cons
Waiting for the authors to do a second book. Maybe "Intermediate" or "Advanced". There are no cons.
Other Thoughts
Love it. Re-read it. Reference it.
Pros
Nice selection
Cons
Lots of irregular shapes
Other Thoughts
I have used a lot of this glass and plan to buy more for jewelry.
Pros
apply easily by hand, good adhesion, doesn't tangle as easily as less thick foil, 1.5 mil is much easier and less likely to rip at corners
Cons
none
Other Thoughts
set roll upon a lead spool and the foil will easily unroll, and stay in one place on the work surface

Cons
sometimes arrives scratched. often some abrasion on textured side
Other Thoughts

Pros
This glass is very striking & the "grain" of the glass reminds me of the grain you would have with wood. The colors are wonderful and the sparkle that comes out in the dark green after it fires makes this one of my favorites to use!
Cons
I can't think of any. I really try to keep this on hand because I use it so much.
Other Thoughts
Pros
I can not find a thing wrong with using this product
It is just the best

Other Thoughts
I am getting a couple of
cans!!!!!
Pros
good size for bus card holder.
Cons
needs to be tweaked so that it curves outward a little down the sides. I always use thinfire to prevent sticking, but the shape of the mold encourages the glass to come in a little on the sides making it very difficult to get off the mold. If the mold was slightly convex, the glass would slip off easily.

Pros
I love this whole line. I've fused it over dichro for jewelry and over plain sheet glass for plates. It fuses beautifully. I find the ability to rub off some of the color from the back a PLUS. I can control to some extent the amount of color. The etching stays after fusing and creates lovely results.
Cons
a bit pricey.
Other Thoughts
When doing small pieces, the edges tend to curl up. Requires each piece to be ground and fire polished. Perhaps due to firing too fast? The larger pieces didn't have this problem, of course I fired them slower..........
Pros
Very effective on smaller pieces & takes very little space. Would purchase this again and highly recommend it.
Cons

Pros
I love this color! It is translucent, so the light comes through. I tack fuse the coarse frit and make bowls. They turn out great!
Cons
The sizes of the coarse frit are not uniform. Some of the frit sizes are fine and medium.
