Product Reviews
Pros
Cuts like a dream, I've used two other types of bandsaws for cutting glass, this is quite preferable. It cuts from any direction and cuts rather quickly. Makes impossible pieces possible.
Cons
It does put out quite a bit of water, but that is good. Although it is loud when used, I expected that it would make some noise when running, as it is a power tool.
Other Thoughts
Sitting it in a large plastic tub works well for containing the water that spills over the platform. And as for the water build up making it difficult to see I just blow on the top of the glass when it happens and it clears right up. I have found it to be a useful tool for custom glass work. I would recommend it to anyone interested in owning one.
Pros
Accurate, reliable, fast, simple.
Cons
Works well with Venture brand. Must have to do with the exacts widths or stiffness of the foil.
Other Thoughts
I've used this foiler for over a year now and nothing compares for the precision. Easier to foil with glass laying on a flat surface than trying to foil holding glass in verticle position like most other foilers. Any item smaller than a quarter would be best foiled by hand. If I were to lose this tool today, I would have a new one tomorrow. It's that critical to me and I've done over 150 glass projects. For tight radius, I will start next to curve but not in curve and foil entire piece then leave enough extra foil when I cut it loose from the roll and foil the curve by hand but last.
Pros
Easy to use, lasts forever. I spray with high temp 1800 for separator, couldn't get any easier than that.
Cons
None

Pros
pretty durable, easy to change and adjust, inexpensive
Cons
the only thing I found was that it didn't last as long as I would've liked it to.

Pros
After years of being frustrated by not being able to totally straighten my spooled lead...finally a solution. The lead stretch with adjustable rails is well worth the price. No more wasted lead. Easy to install and even easier to use, this tool is a must for the serious stained glass artist. It is heavy duty and well made.
Cons
A little on the pricey size for the whole system but it's so heavy duty and well made that you really don't mind.

Pros
The chimes have a beautiful sound when the wind blows. I stain glass paint on clear acrylic sheets and I usually cut stain glass for the chime but I wanted to give my customers variety so I ordered these chimes and they are beautiful for a second choice of chime for my stain glass painted designs. The crystal at the bottom really catches the light and catches your eye.
Cons
Do not expect a big chime. The picture is true to the size. This would be the only con I could find.

Pros
No glass artist would regret having this tool! even if they are on the fence... sure you may not use it as heavy as you once thought, but just the threat of being able to make a perfect circle "on demand" O the power, O the control, I see circles, I see circles, O me goodness!
Cons
Yes, the common theme that the glass will try to move out from under ye cutter while we making the cut ...Easy fix you know that squishy rubbery grid material that is everywhere? I have drawer liners made of it...Lowes has it as a anti-slip pad for under throw rugs... yea you know what i'm talking about! problem solved..now go cut some circles! with yo bad self UU' Ah
Other Thoughts
you will be amazed at the quality of this tool and the cutting torret can be replaced after all five blades are wasted ...
Pros
Can fit more than one mold in the kiln at a time. Pre-drilled holes are large and have not clogged when I prime the mold.
Cons
None

It is a good size dish for a small votive candle or your jewelery or makes a great coin dish. I made two of them and already have orders for 11 more! Can't beat it!
Pros
The pre-worked tubes have eliminated half the work of blowing glass. It's a wonderful beginning to an amazing art form. Give these a try, and you too will be hooked on glass work. Enjoy!
Cons
Be patient, it's not the material that leads to problems. It's you trying to rush. Insure proper annealing.

Pros
Does what it is supposed to do...it's a starter kit. Gives a good idea if I want to get any more involved with fusing. Was fun to experiment. Made a nice pendent on my 3rd attempt and wearing it getting positive comments.
Cons
Got 2 bags of Millefiori..same size.. and wonder if that was planned. There really were no cons because again, it's a starter kit.
Other Thoughts
I suggest setting the microwave time a minimum, checking the item and, if needed, add the 30 seconds until it looks good. I was not sure of the power of my microwave so I was very careful...after the first couple blobs.
Good luck and have fun.
