If you are a poor starving artist like me, it will be very painful to spend all your money on a gift for someone else and not have any money left for you to get anything. :^( But, in the end, you'll be glad you did it when you see the smile on thier faces!

Smooth application. Accepts patina well. Great for when people, especially children, handle the items. Polishes as well as 60/40.

This saw has increased my creativity--you wouldn't believe the detail that you can cut in any glass. Cuts cleanly, great detail

This saw is LOUD and it is a bit difficult to see those small pieces at the blade area. Expect to get a bit wet while using the saw too

I DO recommend this saw to everyone--it's FUN to cut glass with it and makes me believe that the possibilities are endless.

Pros
This was so fun. I haven/t worked with a torch much, but I had a ball with this. Out of 14, I got 2 really good ones, 6 really fun ones, and 6 total rejects. But it was fun. This just means that I'm going to have to take a torch class in las vegas.

Needs to come with some directions. I found some on the internet, but it would have been easier if it came with them.

Everyone who's ever thought about blowing glass should try this. You'll realize why they charge so much for the classes. It was FUN!!

If you like solder to really shine...this stuff is WAY better than finishing polish.

Cons
Like anything that comes in a metal tube, if you squeeze too much you get more than you need...and you don't need a lot of this. A little goes a long way.

I have only used this on solder that does not have any patina on it. But it makes plain silver look great.

Pros
I really like working with this solder. I was nervous to make the switch to lead-free but I'm glad I did. Very nice to work with and polishes up nicely. It also accepts the patinas I tried so far.

Cons
More expensive than 60/40
