Hi-temp 1800 Mold Release And Lubricant Description
Applying release to stainless steel molds has never been easier!

Slide's Hi-Temp 1800 Boron Nitrate Spray is an aerosol mold release primer for slumping and fusing molds. Sold in 10 oz canisters, Hi-Temp 1800 is great for metal molds because there's no need to pre-heat the mold before applying. Hi-Temp 1800 dries instantly and is good for multiple firings below 1350 Fahrenheit.

Easy to Use
Hi-Temp 1800 is easy to apply to any metal mold. Just spray on 2 thin coats. The mold surface will be visible through the spray. If you cannot see the mold surface you have applied too much. For firings above 1350 degrees Fahrenheit, you will have to re-coat your mold after each firing.

Also Great for Ceramic Molds
For best results on ceramic slumping molds, apply 4 thorough light coats. Glass releases easily, and the uniform coating provides a flawlessly smooth back on your project. For firings up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit. Holds up well for multiple firings. 10 oz. This item cannot be shipped air.

Pros : Makes using Stainless Steel Molds so much easier. It really does work.
Cons : None so far
Other Thoughts : I can't really tell if I need to spray my molds each time I fire them. Better safe than sorry.
