This is such an awesome deal. We picked up the crate and took it right home to look. I love Kokomo glass anyway, and this was like a great Christmas present, we oohed and aahed at all the pieces. The variety was better than I expected. They also gave me extras of some colors, some up to four sheets and premium colors, but I think I would have preferred some variety there. Like more of their streakies, but overall I am very very pleased with this crate of glass. It's very well packaged and all the pieces, except one were intact!

The only con I can possibly think of is the weight. We had to get another vehicle and make two trips, one to buy and another to pick it up. It is too heavy to pick it up packed, so we had to unload it and then move it inside, then I had to repack it into my car.

This is one great cutter very easy to use just as it is and can be made better with little effort, You just gotta try this cutter!!!

Hard to adjust with the bottle stop as supplied. Unit is small and can move just when you don't want it to, and don't forget to oil the cutting wheel for every cut, it maintains the cutting wheel and helps to make it last for a really good purchase you will be happy with.

I mounted the cutter on a plastic cutting board and moved the bottle stop out in front of the cutter. Mount and stop are secured with metal screws to the cutting board. You can then move the stop out to cut the tops off of the bottles or in to cut the bottoms. Fill a plastic container with cold water atleast 6-7 inches deep, you can add ice to this if needed then score your bottle top or bottom, seal the top closed for top cuts,so water doesn't enter. Heat your scored bottle and then dip it into the water just above the cut mark, with a little practice the bottle should give off a ping sound and the bottle in the water should just fall off. If it doesn't the first time check the cut mark by looking on an angle to see where the bottle didn't break, heat this area again it might fall off while heating and if not dip it in the water again. With very little practice you should be making good straight cuts and running out of bottles. Great cutting.

I love this saw! The circular movement is natural, it cuts like a champ, and is giving me really beautiful results. My friends and family comment on how my glass looks much more professional than before. If you can't afford this saw, then save your money until you can. It truly is a pleasure to use, and it opens up all sorts of more difficult cuts. I don't know how many sheets of glass I wasted before this saw when trying to cut inside curves. This saw makes that completely effortless, reducing my scrap glass to practically nothing at all. I enjoy using this saw, I am proud of the results I make with it, and am very glad I own one.

The included tutorial videos are really annoying. They really, really try hard to be funny (they're in a 1950s "Mr. Wizard" style, complete with a nerd in a lab coat with thick glasses), and they are anything but.

This saw will take you from basic glass maker with acceptable, amateur results to intermediate and advanced glassmaker with really superior results that you will be proud of.

I love this system. You do have to learn this system but once you do it is well worth it. It is very simple to learn. I just love this because of the cutter being built in and the way it glides along the bar. You can't miss. The angles are also simple because there is no math or guessing. Now there is a new ruler that is inches on one side and metric on the other, Thank you for that.
