Product Reviews
Pros
Rich colors, great sheen
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
I use smallish pieces, so these were just the right size.
Pros
Great deal for price and power. I am glad I bought these. I am still on my first bit after 5 projects--some which required extensive grinding.
Cons
It seems that now the first bit is wearing fast.
Other Thoughts
Will buy again.
Pros
Metal Push Pins are the best. Use them daily. They stand up to very heavy use. Would recommend to everyone.
Cons
I need to order more.
Other Thoughts
They never bend
Pros
Has prevented water and small bits of glass from hitting the wall behind my grinder. Has made using my grinder safer. Excellent made product, durable. Have used for long time and is just like the day I got it. Would recommend it for anyone. Very easy to use.
Cons
There are no cons as far as I am concerned.
Other Thoughts
I should have purchased sooner.
Pros
Received in excellent condition. Have used for all of my stained glass designes and has held up extremely well. Would recommend this to everyone. Could not work without ths product. Best product I've ever used.
Cons
I need to order other boards in smaller sizes.
Other Thoughts
Cannot imagine how I did stained glass without the Homosote Board.
Pros
These are so easy to use - just glue on - and look great with glass or clay. People like having the inexpensive option to the pricey sterling. The large opening is great for all types of cords and chains, too.
Cons
All, silver plated items still tarnish. But, I just use a simple polishing cloth to shine them up.
Other Thoughts
I have tried the small and large ones, and now only use the large because it fits on all the cords and chains.
Pros
Spectacular color! Even better than the photos. Even distribution of colors. Easy to cut. Backing seems very strong and stable. Will use this glass often in my mosaic and stained glass projects.
Cons
A bit on the pricey side but well worth the investment.
Other Thoughts
Pros
Great value for the money! I bought it when just starting out and see no need to upgrade. Does everything I need it to, and you can attach any bit needed!
Cons
The shield thing does not do much. I traded that out and just wear safety glasses.
Other Thoughts
Pros
Just received my first sheets of Van Gogh glass and it is truly beautiful. Even out shines the photos. Very easy to cut. Will use this in many mosaic and stained glass projects.
Cons
It is a bit pricey, but I think well worth it.
Other Thoughts
Pros
I love all the patterns.

Pros
Comfortable to grip, way better than holding teeny tiny pieces of glass. My finger tips are thanking me.
Cons
The rubber grip tip may wear out eventually, but they can be easily replaced. How fortuitous!
Other Thoughts
I should have purchased these a long time ago.
Pros
Great cutter for detail work. I use this mostly for those 'tricky' cuts that require a lot of control. This was the first cutter I ever purchased.
Cons
Not great for heavy or intensive use. My hand tends to cramp up quickly because of the un-natural grip. Also I cracked the plastic near the reservoir know because I put so much pressure on it. So now the oil tends to leak.
Other Thoughts
Pros
I have put together several of the pre-cut scroll kits. I really wanted one that was more of a spring time theme. I like to move the correct seasoned theme to a prominent window. The kits are easy to put together and I highly recommend them.
Cons
The central twisted wire can be difficult to straighten and bend into the required shape.
Other Thoughts
Pros
Ergonomic, comfortable grip. My hand does not cramp up at all when I am in 'production mode' and doing a lot of cut work. Gives smooth lines and does not require a lot of pressure. Refillable oil reservoir is a great feature!
Cons
Other Thoughts
I have tried this cutter, the pistol-grip, and the "thomas grip" styles. All have their unique purposes, but this particular design is a great for general purpose and frequent use.
