Product Description

Equip your workshop with a glass saw that will open up a world of possibilities. The C-40 Tall Band Saw features the same super-fast cutting, quiet operation and powerful motor as the traditional C-40 saw, but provides added versatility.

It's a bottle art enthusiast's dream come true! The added blade length and taller stature allow 4-1/2" of blade clearance with the upper blade guides in place. If extra depth is needed, the top blade guide can be removed to provide an incredible 5-1/2" of clearance. This unique feature makes the C-40 Tall Band Saw ideal for cutting glass bottles of any shape.
The 42" long blade removes a thin line (approximately .020" wide) of material as it cuts, so you can make precision cuts without wasting glass. A one square foot work surface with ample drainage holes supports glass as you cut.

You're sure to love the easy set-up, operation and care of this powerful tool. The 1/3 hp direct-drive motor is mounted at the top of the saw, keeping it away from the water. No belts or pulleys means less maintenance. In addition, the motor has sealed bearings for improved resistance to corrosion. Blade installation is a breeze with semi-automatic blade tensioning that can be adjusted with a single knob.

Sponges cool and flush the blade below and above the surface. Blade guides above and below the surface help keep your blade supported and running true. The large 9" x 10" reservoir holds plenty of water to keep cutting, and can be easily disassembled from the motor for quick clean-up.

Saw includes one diamond grit stainless steel blade for cutting glass, tile and stone. 1 year manufacturer warranty.

  •   Excellent bandsaw for high output
By on
Pros : Excellent bandsaw for high output. Nice large table. Lots of clearance. Parts availability. Ease of use related to changing blades and tightening regular maintenance things like that.
Cons : Lots of plastic construct. Guides wear quickly.
Other Thoughts : A little work light would be cool. Something to illuminate the work surface. Right now I am using a small spotlight that makes shadows.
