Pros : This iron is long-lasting while standing up to student abuse. We used to buy the Inland irons and this one is the closest we've found.
Cons : A few of the 15 that we have don't allow the replacement tip to slide in due to a variation in either the tip circumference or the iron circumference. It could be a slight rust issue with the older ones.

Pros : I use this iron with lead free solder and it makes a very even bead. I am surprised at how well it works without a rheostat and how fast it heats up. I have used it for a couple projects already and it has yet to let me down!
Cons : The handle does get a bit hot, but not overly so that I have to stop soldering.
Other Thoughts : I got this iron as part of a starter pack here. I would recommend it for its low price and good quality.

Pros : Good even heat without a rheostat (even though I tried one). My instructor recommended it and I've not been disappointed. I'm new at doing stained glass and this is super for the novice or the expert!
Cons : None
Other Thoughts : Thanks for a great iron that I will be able to use for a long time! Great power! Even flow heat!!
