With this device I've been able to precisely cut strips, even to a very narrow width. This is my favorite cutting tool for both stained glass and fused glass work.

The circle cutter does take some practice, but probably due to operator error. I've had better luck with this circle cutter than others I've tried.

This stuff really sticks well. If you need to reposition, you can, but do it quickly...the longer it sets, the harder it is to get off. It burnishes beautifully.

The adhesive does get messy if you tear the tape during burnishing. Just be gentle...it's worth the effort.

Once you get the hang of it, you can make some really lovely ornaments this way. I gave several away as gifts and even the imperfect ("artfully free form") shapes were well received. This is a nice basic kit so you can tell if you are patient enough to try more or not! I was hooked pretty fast and bought additional frit and glaskolben within days.

If given as a gift, remember the user needs several other things - a torch, fuel, safety glasses and a means to anneal (can be warmed vermiculite). A warning, unless you have experience, many or most may break or be disappointing. A dozen went pretty quickly while learning. Glass blowers make this look easy - it isn't, but it is fun! I did explode a couple. Never do this without safety glasses as minimum equipment. I received this as a gift and it wasn't complete (didn't have the millefiori). Usually I am very happy with Delphi so I think this was a fluke.

An add on to the kit, which includes a torch and safety glasses would be welcome. Instructions could be a bit better, and maybe add a video.

I was a little intimidated by the instructions, though being a seasoned glass cutter for stained and fused glass. Followed the easy directions and had my first wine bottle cut in no time. Just take a little patience, may take a few passes with candle and ice, but not long and you will have your pieces cut! love it!!

clean & polishes wonderfully, leaves glass sparking, helps keep exterior window surfaces cleaner, removes patina residue even weeks later. I will use this on everything from now on.
