The Convenience of a Programmable Table Top Kiln with an Extra Spacious Firing Chamber
Create fabulous fused glass art with the Skutt FireBox 8" x 6" LT Kiln. Get the convenience of a table-top kiln with the added benefit of an extra deep firing chamber. Perfect for working with smaller draping molds and castings. The hinged lid easily opens past 90° so you don't have to worry about where to rest the hot lid of your kiln. The body of the kiln is buckled securely to the floor of the unit, so it will not slip off if bumped. You don't even have to worry about lifting the lid when the kiln is hot to take a peek. Its wood handle stays cool even when the kiln is at peak temperature. The easily programmable KilnMaster LT controller allows you to enter multi-segment firing schedules with ease. Fire glass, metal clay and even ceramics. Operates on standard 115V / 15 amp, so no special wiring is required.

The FireBox KilnMaster LT controller allows you to fire both glass and ceramics. It even has built in programs for metal clay! The GlassFire Mode allows you to create a program simply by choosing your technique and the speed. It doesn’t get easier than that! The ConeFire Mode allows you to fire ceramics selecting the cone value, firing speed and hold time. PMC Mode is even easier. All you enter is the type of Metal Clay you are using and press start. Kiln gives you the ability to create your own firing programs with up to 8 segments. This allows you to store up to 5 custom programs. PLUS, you can adjust temperatures or hold times while the kiln is firing using 'Add Time' or 'Add Temp' or simply select 'Anneal Now' to set your project and begin annealing it.
