Gryphon's core drill bits for glass artists feature the same high quality coating as their well-respected grinder bits. Diamond bits quickly and easily remove a complete circle in glass. Core bits work with a standard electric drill and only need water as a lubricant. 18mm core bit is equal to approximately 3/4".  Features a 8mm shank.


Shown in additional images are the packaging and examples of projects that can be created using core drill bits. Fused pendant uses 1/8" core drill bit for a perfect hole for stringing. Water lily table fountain by artist Teresa Batten was created with fused flower molds and assembled using a core drill bit to accommodate the fountain and water flow. Fused glass sink by artists Val Oswalt and Roy Kapp was created using a core drill bit to create the hole to accommodate plumbing.
