Product Description

Commonly used for cooling hot glass and beads, this non-carcinogenic refractory fiber blanket can also be used for making fiber molds with greater depth. Use with or without rigidizer, sold separately. Does not contain asbestos. Measures 12" x 12" x 1/4" thick.

Pros : Easy to Use Creates great texture No mess/No Fuss
Cons : Creates a texture and shows seams, so that has to be a desired results
Other Thoughts : I just started playing with this amazing materials about a month ago. Makes working with the kiln to "cook" glass so easy. Great for newbies who want to get started but don't care that one size will pickup the mat texture.
