Product Reviews
Pros
It always burns off in the kiln....I made the mistake of buying cheaper glue that claimed it burned off, and ended up with pieces that had blue haze all over them, it was VERY disappointing, so I learned my lesson fast!! I will NEVER stray from using this, since I work too hard on a glass piece to have it end up looking like complete junk when it's done! If left to totally dry (which you SHOULD!!), it actually has a reasonable amount of adhesive strength...personally, I don't like to touch my pieces much after they are finished and dry (other than to transfer them to sometimes needing to move them to a kiln shelf!), so I have never seen a true problem with the amount of adhesive strength it offers when dry!
Cons
Yes, it is runny, but the other kind I have tried was too! So, is it really a con, or is it just what one should expect when using a glass fusing glue?!?!
Other Thoughts
Basically, it's the only glue that I truly trust to burn off every time!! Yes, it's runny, but others I have tried are as well....this is really one area where you simply can't cut corners and go with a cheaper option=YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!
Pros
I love Glassline paint! I saw it in the catalog and decided to try it. It's great for drawing on glass. It gives different effects than using just cut glass. I love to draw. I wish I had tried it long ago!! The texture of the paint after firing is interesting against the shiny glass--a real plus.

Pros
The microwave kiln is a wonderful way to learn if fusing is for you. I have had mine for 2 weeks and have been making some fantastic items. I wasn't sure I wanted a kiln but now I am saving for one. I will still use the microwave kiln just because you can do so much with it and the waiting to see what you have done is so short.
It is worth the money as long as you understand you will only be able to do small items in it.
Cons
The instructions could be a little better as far as letting you know what glass is fusible in it. I had to contact a friend to find out just how much experimenting I could do being totally new to fusing.
Could also give a little more info on adjusting fusing times depending on the watts of your microwave, I over fused my first piece and left some major screwed up places in my kiln but it is still working great.
Other Thoughts
I would totally recommend anyone who is considering a kiln or who just wants to play around with out putting out big bucks to try this kiln.
I teach mosaics and now several of my students have decided they want to try a microwave kiln too. It is very addicting once you start fusing you don't want to stop!
Pros
I have made hundreds of these hummers, always a winner!
Cons
The only thing that irks me is the plastic shrink wrap they are sealed in- it takes care to not break a beak or hook when removing the wrap.

Pros
It is simple to use and does work wonderfully! I purchased this because my big kiln broke and I had some jewelry orders to fill. Took no more than 4 minutes in the microwave with 40 minutes of cooling time to produce just what I needed. I will definitely continue to use this in the future for small projects or just making 1 or 2 pieces. I recommend using the Thinfire Shelf paper instead of what is supplied because of the rough back it creates. Thinfire definitely makes a smoother back.
Cons
Finished edges are a little rough but can use grinder to smooth them.
Other Thoughts
I recommend this for a beginner or casual hobbyist because of the inexpensive price tag. The total area is perfect for jewelry.

Flip the wings backwards and it looks like a hummer that is ready to attack!
Pros
I loved all the glass in the pkg. Each and every one is an added bonus to my collection.

should have bought 4 pkgs
Pros
Best all around grinder! Has the power and performance to top the rest in hobby or pro!
The pump squirts water on the small bit which is why I bought it for using it to clean up the inside of glass letters. You can direct the spray right on the bit!
Cons
just the way the glass protective shield is mounted is a mystery to me at first glance. Also, the roller guide is hard to figure out how to assemble at first take.
Other Thoughts
Best on the market well worth the price!
Pros
I received this kit yesterday and assembled it in a few hours. I have never used this type of lead came before but found it quite useful and quick. I love not having to cut and grind all those little pieces. A real time saver.
Cons
I wish there were an extra leaf or flower bud since after it was finished I held it up and noticed I had cracked the glass on one of the leafs and now may have a time matching the exact glass. I don't think I can live with it even as a beginner I have never cracked any glass.

Pros
This is the dichroic glass I use most -- not only does it impart a beautiful sparkle on top, but it turns any transparent glass into a dichroic-looking glass when used as a base layer!
Cons
none
Other Thoughts
When marking with a sharpie, be sure to mark on the non-coated side. Marker does not like to come off the dichroic coating!
Pros
this project was so easy and fun. i had it done in 2 days! i hung it in my living room and everyone loves it.i cant say anything negative about it. its simple and elegant.
Cons
no cons on this one!
Other Thoughts
Pros
Straight forward, easy to use. Can make lots of different things with a little imagination. I have been making brochure holders in addition to business card holders. USE kiln paper
Cons
The 1st time I used this I had coated with kiln wash as I do all my molds. The glass stuck to the sides and I had to pry it off.
Other Thoughts
Now I use a reusable piece of fiber blanket hanging over the edges on the top where I put my glass. It works like a charm and no more sticking.
