Create fused art with this classic style and detail. Simple mold features a classic dot pattern, perfect for custom dishes. Place your glass over the mold and fire to capture a deeply imprinted design. Must kiln wash before use. Measures 6-1/4" diameter by 3/4" deep. Overall mold measures 2-1/4" high.
This dimple rim mold is reminiscent of hobnail glass in reverse. Hobnail glass is a distinctive textured glass characterized by raised, rounded bumps that create a striking, tactile pattern. This decorative style became especially popular in the 19th and 20th centuries, with Fenton Art Glass being one of the most well-known producers. Often found in vintage milk glass, opalescent glass, and colorful transparent varieties, hobnail glass is commonly used for vases, lamps, and tableware. Its unique texture not only adds visual appeal but also provides a secure grip, making it both stylish and functional.
