A staple for hot glass artists, you will find frit useful for many applications, including jewelry and casting projects. Frit is made from sheets of Oceanside art glass which is crushed, screened, before being re-tested to ensure you're receiving the very best compatible product. Get started with a fusing essential with this sampler. Contains seven 8.5 oz. jars of transparent and opalescent frit in a combination of fine and medium grit. Colors will vary. Fused flower plate by artist Melanie Churchill. Rose project by artist Ann Koss, from Delphi's Online Artist Gallery.  Smaller image shows the texture of the frit, larger image shows the color. Specially formulated fusible glass is tested for it's COE rating (coefficient of expansion) and is designed specifically for kiln firing. Delphi carries a wide selection of both 90 and 96 COE (coefficient of expansion) fusible glass in a variety of textures and colors.

Please Note: Never mix 90 and 96 COE glass in a project. It will cause stress and result in your piece breaking. When fusing, fire with one COE if combining glass pieces.
