About Colour de Verre
Colour de Verre molds are made for frit casting, where powdered and granular glass is packed into a mold and fired until it consolidates into a solid form. The method captures far finer detail than slumping a sheet, which is why their florals, leaves and nature subjects hold recognisable veining and texture.
Delphi carries the range across floral and leaf forms, seasonal and holiday designs, home decor pieces and jewellery molds. Molds are reusable across many firings when prepared with kiln wash, so the cost per finished piece drops each time you fire one. They suit artists ready to move beyond flat fused panels, and anyone producing consistent small work for markets, gifts or a shop shelf.
